Arsene Wenger delighted with Kieran Gibbs form

Ahead of the crucial tie away to Fulham the boss Arsene Wenger spoke of his delight of Kieran Gibbs form this season. Having won a call to the England squad only to be withdrawn due to an injury. Gibbs is not providing big competition with new left back Nacho Monreal and the strong competition between each other can only make the 2 players better.

“They have done really well,” he said. “Choosing between them is another difficult decision I have to make in every single game.

“I would say for Gibbs it's the same as it is for Oxlade-Chamberlain because he has improved tremendously this season.

“October and November was really a springboard for him where he moved forward. He's a candidate for higher up.”
