David Villa has been continually linked with a possible move to Arsenal but Villa has been coy about his future at Barcelona and he is currently travelling to the United States for Spain's friendlies against Haiti and the Republic of Ireland before the Confederations Cup in Brazil and revealed he will not make a decision on his future until the end of his international duties.

He said : "I have a contract and I have always said that I'm very happy at Barcelona," Villa said. "Throughout my career I have always been respectful of my current club. Right now I'm just thinking about doing a good job in Brazil and then we will see.

"We will have to analyse many things during the summer, but as of right now I'm not thinking of anything else other than playing football for Spain."

Arsenal reported target Stevan Jovetic could leave says Fiorentina coach

23rd May 2013 By ArsenalSupremo

Arsenal reported target Stevan Jovetic says Vincenzo Montella who is the coach of Fiorentina, www.goal.com has revealed a while back that Arsenal are currently negotiating with with the club for the player.

"You know Jovetic is a player with great talent who could have different ambitions," Montella told Tuttosport. "So, I think, as president [Andrea] Della Valle said, there is the possibility of him leaving if we were paid properly. I'm aware of this."

The fact that Fiorentina failed to secure Champions League football as a result of a controversial Mario Balotelli penalty and a late Philippe Mexes strike saw them stage a late comeback against Siena, and seal third place. What this means is that they will struggle to keep hold of their star player as they won't be in the elite competition next season.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang agent confirms Arsenal's interest in the player : Watch the best of his goals and skills this season.

12th April 2013 By ArsenalSupremo

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who plays for Saint-Etienne, this season he has scored 17 goals in 30 games and has sent his club to third in the Ligue 1 behind Lyon and PSG. Aubameyang has been targeted by several Premier League clubs and a move in the summer now looks like a possibility.

His agent Oscar Damiani told French football publication France Football: "Paris are following him, but we don't know who will be the coach there next season.

"There are also a lot of forwards in their squad. If it is important for him to leave, it is more important for him to play.

"We have not yet decided if it would be better for him to join an intermediate club or join a big club immediately."

Is he the type of striker we need at the club? I have looked through YouTube to find the best clips of the player and you can be the judge.

26th March 2013 By ArsenalSupremo

Rumours are quickly spreading about the Arsenal interest in Fiorentina's striker Stevan Jovetic. In my opinion Arsenal will defiantly spend big on one player or maybe 2 you never know but the question is who is it going to be? Stevan Jovetic spoke to the media about the interest from the Gunners.

“I've heard about Arsenal’s interest. It’s a big pleasure for me to be on the radar of such a big club. I am happy about that. I've always had an affinity with Arsenal. It’s a major club with a big tradition, one of the biggest in Europe.

“It’s not easy to replace Robin Van Persie, who scored a lot of goals.Arsenal have plenty of players w ho don’t score like Van Persie, but are also very good.

“They are still very strong. I often watch Premier League games on TV. It’s one of the best leagues in the world and looks tempting for me. “Maybe one day I will play there but I have a contract with Fiorentina and battling for a Champions League place in Serie A is the only thing I’m thinking about now.”

Stevan Jovetic Stats

Partizan (06-08) 13 goals in 51 apps

Fiorentina (08-13) 34 goals in 109 apps

Transfer Rumours : Lukas Podolski : I want to stay at Arsenal

25th March 2013 By ArsenalSupremo

Lukas Podolski has dismissed speculation that he wants to leave Arsenal with Atletico Madrid and Juventus reportedly interested in the player. Interesting stat is that Podolski has not completed a full 90 minutes since January. This is what Podolski had to say about the apparent rumors.

"I cannot help it that clubs are interested in me. And there are always people behind the scenes who want to float something in this business. Secondly, any interest makes me proud because it is a recognition of my performance in London. It is unlikely that I will leave because, at the club and in the town, I feel really comfortable. I can honestly say: I am not preparing for any change."
